Revisiting the Military Vocation and Upholding the Soldier's Spirit—Long-B Group's Chuxiong Park Hosts an August 1 Army Day Themed Activity

With iron blood forging the spirit of the military, the original aspiration endures forever. To celebrate the 99th anniversary of the founding of the Chinese People's Liberation Army and to carry forward the red military spirit, while fostering unity among veterans in the park, over 40 veterans from Chuxiong Park visited the Qinglongxia Shuishanjiao team-building base on July 31. They participated in an August 1 Army Day-themed team-building activity, immersing themselves in outdoor practices to revisit their military初心 and temper their soldierly essence.

During the rainy season, the mountain roads were slippery and muddy, with many sections submerged by streams, making travel extremely difficult. The entire group of demobilized and transferred veterans used locally available materials to pave the roads and repair bridges, clearing each obstructed section one by one. With their exceptional skills and unwavering perseverance, all members safely reached their destination. Under the command of Su Bo, Deputy Director of the Personnel and Administration Department at Longbai Lufeng Titanium Industry, they quickly formed ranks and assembled. Director Su extended holiday greetings, encouraging everyone to uphold the fine traditions of the military and achieve new accomplishments in their respective positions. He then divided the personnel into four teams and assigned campfire cooking tasks, with all members engaging in the outdoor cooking process.

This picnic relies on the original ecological forest environment, without a fixed stove, and the damp weather makes it difficult to ignite dead branches, making it particularly challenging to start a fire and cook. Everyone performs their respective duties and works closely together: digging pits and building stoves, controlling the temperature with ignition, sorting and cleaning, finely cutting and matching, flipping and stir frying with a spoon, and controlling the heat, with no one slacking off throughout the entire process. Through joint efforts and hard work, each team gradually cooked meals and relived the collective life of the military camp in actual combat.

The discussion is over, and everyone is fully equipped to carry out outdoor training. Faced with rugged mountain roads, the team members chopped wood to clear obstacles and repaired the road surface to ensure smooth travel. As the training was coming to an end, the team encountered several senior veterans with white hair. It is the generations of veterans who have sacrificed themselves for the country and shed their blood that have laid the foundation for today's sound mountains and rivers, as well as the stable development of enterprises. All team members, with high respect, invite old comrades to take a group photo together as a memento. The warmth of both new and old soldiers is shared, bringing a successful conclusion to this event.

The August 1st themed team building activity has enhanced the cohesion of the company's military personnel team. All trainees unanimously expressed that they will continue to maintain their military nature in the future, and the strict discipline, excellent work style, and sense of responsibility tempered by their military career will be transformed into practical actions based on their positions and fulfilling their duties.
